Careful listening is a muscle that we can train to help us in our understanding of others, and so do I see my practice to use art as a tool to look at the world and try to make frameworks where I see the need for connections. This can vary from hosting events to making more conceptual works but always looking with clear sight towards what moves others or what is missing to make them move.
In my Fine Art study at de Willem de Kooning Academy (2015-2019) I began to test what are the ways to empower others by collective creation or by trying to capture (his-)tories. This path of floating between being an artist and just a practitioner of everyday life is what drives me.
